We compare your nightly rate against real demand signals for your location — upcoming events, weather, holidays, and weekend patterns over the next 30 days — and score how well your pricing captures them. The score is free and takes about 30 seconds. No account needed.
Does this work with Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com?+
Yes. The free score works from just your location and nightly rate, and so does the Snapshot Report — the checkout is one email field if you've just run the score. If you have a per-night pricing export from your host dashboard you can add it, and the report will measure every night against what you currently charge, but it's optional.
How is this different from platform-native pricing tools?+
Airbnb's Smart Pricing optimizes for bookings, which usually means nudging your price down. Rascal shows you where real local demand — events, holidays, seasonality — supports charging more, so you keep the upside instead of handing it to the platform.
Do you need access to my rental account?+
No. We never ask for your Airbnb, VRBO, or Booking.com login. A listing link and a pricing export are both optional extras; your address and nightly rate are all we need.
What data sources does Rascal use?+
Local event listings (concerts, sports, festivals), the weather forecast, public holiday calendars, weekends, and any comparable listings you choose to add. We combine these into a day-by-day set of date signals for your next 30 nights. Coverage can be incomplete, and the results say so when it is.
